for a graphic drawing I am looking for a floor plan of a Valemax bulkcarrier. At best it would be a plan of the sisters BERGE EVEREST, JAYA, ACONCAGUA, NEBLINA. But a plan from another bulker of this size would also help me a lot.

can someone in the community provide information about the Dockwise heavyloader BLUE MARLIN and FORTE? The former comes from Stavanger with destination Vlissingen, FORTE is scheduled to arrive tomorrow in Rotterdam. I would be interested to know if the ships might carry a rig on deck or so.

the Tall Ships Race 2016 takes place in Antwerp this weekend. Do we have to expect some restrictions on merchant shipping after this weekend? I guess not but maybe some professionals from the Western Scheldt can confirm my assumption.

Shipping News and information / "Berge Fjord" notified for Rotterdam

Hello shipspotting community,

Berge Fjord is calling Rotterdam once again within the next weeks. She has finished bunkering operation at the Canaries this morning and is actually heading for north. I still can't believe that one of the oldest VLOC in service is about to visit a northern european port precisely because her sistervessel "Berge Vik" recently ended on a beach and they both plied between Brazil and China in times past.

All the better, certainly the last chance to catch this beauty here. Fingers crossed, a first ETA is given 9.08 1400.

I will visit your city in august for a few days and of course, to see some vessels is a firm intention by me.

Trip reports / Shipspotting in Singapore

Hey shipspotters,
Overnext week I will visit Singapore for sightseeing. If weather allows, I will spend one day or more for shipspotting, of course.
I talked to some friends, they told me to stay on Kusu Island to spott vessels heading for and coming from the Malacca Strait and to see the portentrance. Furthermore my plan includes to visit Sentosa via boat.
Does anybody have some more ideas where to go and to stay for shipspotting, some special places or harbour cruises and so on ?! What about private chartering of a watertaxi to cross the roads ?!
I'm grateful for every suggestion of you !

the old RoRo's "Stena Partner" and "Stena Transfer" were reported to sold for scrap in China.
Which vessel will continue Rotterdam - Harwich in the future ?
