Message to Thames spotters :)

The new S.Walsh tug SWS Essex is underway now operating mainly between Bow Creek and Barking Creek.  Also the ex Green Transient is now named SWS Thurrock and soon to be underway in the Thurrock area.

Also the fate of Jim Higgs (green london) looks uncertain, but please again if you see her underway or being towed anywhere...

Thanks Ben for the info - I wasn't aware of the Transient renaming so will have to look out for her.
Saw SWS Essex on AIS earlier in the week, another product from Damen to the same design as Haven Supporter.

Worrying news that if GREEN LONDON (Jim Higgs) is not sold by friday shes going to be towed to Gravesend and scrapped!  :'( :'(

SWS Thurrock has no name as of yet so im guessing not quite ready to enter service.  Will let you know as soon as i see her move and get underway

Sad news if the Green London is scrapped Ben. It was only a couple of years ago that I saw her being shown off with a bit of a fanfare in the lower pool. What went wrong?
