I have received a report that the BUCKEYE, undergoing conversion to a barge at Erie Shipbuilding LLC., in Erie, Pa, will be renamed LEWIS J. KUBER to honor one of her owners, who is a partner in K&K Warehousing.
K&K Warehousing subsidiary Buckeye Holdings LLC owns the BUCKEYE, and K&K is a partner with VanEnkevort Tug & Barge in Erie Shipbuilding.
