Hi all! I haven't been on here for sometime but have a new den to decorate with ship photos.
I'm looking for a photo of the Canadian tug "Foundation Franklin" formerly "HMS Frisky", ww1 vintage. Scrapped sometime after 1949. Can anyone help?
You can e-mail me at:[email protected]
Thanks
Stan ;D

I have to disagree with you Dennis. I've only been on here a few times over the last couple of years but my comments always seem to get posted.

Excellent photos, thanks for sharing. Really enjoyed them. The only thing that could improve them would have been captions. But one can't have everything! Thanks again! ;D

I hear on the news today here in Canada that it will be next week. They don't know the exact day or hour because that will depend on weather and sea state. It will be exciting to see. I hope there's going to be good coverage. ;D

Looks like they left her steaming full speed ahead!!! ;D
Maybe too stoned to shut her down before abandoning ship?

Just saw a report on the evening news here in the Toronto Canada area that says the salvage company is hurrying up the salvage operation of the Costa Concordia. Apparently she is being crushed on the reef by her own weight!? ???

Does anyone know if they are going to patch that big gash in her port side before trying to right and re-float her? Or are they just going to depend on the flotation of the attached caissons? ???
