Title: CLUB HARMONY has been demolished?
Post by: gabriele cavicchini on July 03, 2017, 09:56:18 AM
Hi all boys, I apologize for my English,
Does anyone know what the club Harmony ex Costa Marina did?
The latest data from MarineTraffic.com detects it in the city of Nueva Palmira in Uruguay.
The data date back to 2016-04-02 18:49
Does anyone have any news about it?

Good day,
the "Club Harmony" arrived Alang at 24th October 2014 as "Harmony I" and was beached there the following day.

CLUB HARMONY was stricken from the Marshall Islands Registry during 12 May 2014. No idea where it was registered thereafter. Whilst under MI flag I do not believe it undertook any commercial activity.

CLUB HARMONY was active under MHI flag from 1/2012 until about 1/2013 in Korea-Japan cruises

During subsequent laid up at Kwangyang she is listed as sold 5/2014 to Polar Energy & Marine Co Ltd (Polaris Shipping Co Ltd), Seoul and put under S Korea flag (presumably that was the purchase option that they had from Costa).  She was laid up at Kwangyang most, if not all of the time (I think that a report of a call at Tianjin, China on 27/6 was an "AIS phantom") until she left for Singapore in 8/2014 and was sold for demolition at Alang - final voyage as HARMONY I under St Kitts-Nevis flag.
