Also found this, which implies limited to inland (categorised?) waters only:

Sinc 8/2014 working for Kendalls in West harbour, transhipping aggregates from ARC in the eastern arm.  Reported that this will end about now as new dredger due to serve Kendalls direct.

Think the data on that site refers to another vessel as she has done many years at sea :)

As has been stated Carmel (IMO 7106891) 1971/199 has been sailing on a regular daily basis, loading aggregate from the ARC terminal in the canal and discharging it at Kendalls wharf, in Shoreham Port. (She is now appearing and being logged on AIS). This cuts down on the number of lorry journeys by road undertaking a similar journey, thus reducing emissions and fuel costs. Indeed some 26 lorry journeys were quoted at the Port AGM last week on Tuesday 7 July 2015.

Somewhere in the ports reports etc I read that Carmel has been hired in, to facilitate this transfer following the reported reluctance of wharf owners to hire shipping to discharge in the western arm of the port; the bulk of the ports shipping traffic goes through the locks (or discharges at Dudman

Carmel was due Marchwood Quay, Southampton around 22.00 hrs 30 June from Shoreham.  Her AIS seems to have given up the ghost about 20.00 when just S of Calshot.   Interesting to know if she made it.

She made it.
Showing berthed at Marchwood Quay by Southampton VTS.
Corvid Marine Services is owned by Capt Bob Cheek, so they must be the operators.  They apparently also operate GOOLE STAR, moving aggregates in the Southampton/Portsmouth/Newport IOW area.
