The steamer Red Jacket (NOT the clipper Red Jacket) was active in New York Harbor at least 1859-1861. It carried 4th of July celebrants on a harbor tour in 1859. It carried the 22nd New York Volunteer Infantry from New York City to "Elizabethport" New Jersey in June of 1861. For a piece I'm writing on the 22nd New York I'm looking for a picture of Red Jacket.
