Just wondering if anyone heard the latest on the ships? And phil, are you getting your information from a website?

Jeff, all

Both ships arrived at Alang anchorage on 6th October. My information is from local Alang sources, not from a website.

Thats pretty neat to have a source in alang. I guess they'll soon meet their end. Very disappointing news

Hi Phil,

Thank-you very much for the information on the Caribou and Smallwood. Is there anyway you can get some photoso of them on the beach.

Thanks again
Dean

Dean, I'm at a desk in London, not Alang - so unfortunately no!

Unfortunately not Dean. I am not in personal contact with anyone. I just receive a market bulletin from an Alang shipbreaker which contains this information.

Phil These 2 vessels had a huge following around Atlantic Canada and many cared what happened to them.We are passionate about our ferries here. So on behalf of all of the Canadian shipspotters thanks very much for keeping us informed!

Take care
Jarrod

You are very welcome Jarrod. I realised that there was a lot of interest in these ships from the messages on the forum earlier this year. I only wish I was in a position to obtain some photos for you. Sadly I doubt it will be possible.
