Fyffes reefers into portsmouth
« on: June 24, 2011, 01:20:29 PM »
Can anybody give me some info on the routes that the Fyffes Reefers take into Portsmouth, UK. Is this still part of the Seatrade company?
Just recently seen the Fyffes ship EMERALD into Portsmouth (14 June 2011 see my photo on this site) and was wondering its origin.

Regards
Steve

Why not take a look at my blog "SHIPS AND BOATS IN LONDON". It's my take on the river traffic in the City.

hello Steve,

mv "EMERALD" is managed by "Triton Schiffahrt ", more details here. She is on longterm charter to Fyffes
carrying Banans and Pineapples from Big Creek/Belize and Moin/Costa Rica to Portsmouth and Waterford on a four week roundtrip.
dead slow ahead !  :-)
best regards, Klaus
