Safety on ferries - FAHRENTEST 2005

Hello everyone;

German ADAC published results of a consecutive edition of its program Fahrentest (Ferry test). In 2005 30 ferries were checked in areas of safety (navi/radio-equipment, construction, fire systems, safety management, instructions for passengers and safety equipment). Gereral results show that the ferries operating on the Baltic Sea are the best/safest while those from Southern Europe significanltly worse. Follow the link:
