Hi there,

This is what I found on Marinetraffic.com.

Go to the address below and you will see the list of AIS stations. At least the ones used by Marinetraffic.

http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/fr/datasheet.aspx?datasource=STATIONS

Hope this helps.

Hi Jim,

Sorry, I guess i misunderstood a bit, but if you click on "select location" you will see the areas they covers.

The list at marinetraffic.com is incomplete. The ship I have been tracking has been reported by stations 116 and 34, neither of which are listed.  ???

And for that matter, neither is station #1.

If it's to track a ship, try Siitech.com . It is free. I think it has more coverage that Marinetreaffic.

What is the name of the ship you are tracking?

I've tried Siitech but I think marinteraffic (which is completely free -- no lite version) has better graphics, at least using Firefox.

Per my earlier thread, I'm tracking ITALY EXPRESS.

I've emailed marinetraffic about the discrepancies. It's possibly a case of volunteer data entry not being up to date.
