Great Yarmouth outer harbour
« on: November 13, 2010, 03:52:03 PM »
I've heard rumours that Great Yarmouth is reviewing the use of their newly built outer harbour. I'm told that the container cranes are being removed in favour of wind farm operations and that high winds and sea conditions causes problems with larger vessels.

Does anyone have any news about this?

Regards

Bob

Thanks for the link jw, at least it will still be used and not closed.

I heard that a bulk carrier broke her moorings during the bad weather last week and left part loaded with help from tugs.
