Hi Polsteam

Looks like they have done a very good restoration job.   Their search for authentic parts was well documented on Ships Nostalgia website.   I photographed her in Szczecin in April last year and she certainly needed a lot of work.   I did post pics of her, but someone moved them to an incorrect category so I wiped them !!

Hi Rafal

She looks simply stunning - what a wonderful job you have done with her, a great improvement since I saw her in April last year. (I deleted my pictures because they were moved to an incorrect category and I cant abide someone making me look a fool !!).    I hope she gives you years of good service and  that you enjoy your time on her.

Rafal,

Congratulations on such a wonderful restoration of the Bembridge, which I have seen for many years in this country and indeed watched her being towed out of the Thames. I never would have believed she could look so good again. Great work!

Regards
John J.

Hello John, thanks, yes all of us both in Poland but in UK are very proud. We in Poland are working with her body but in UK many guys are helping us to restore her history, to find pictures, documents and the like. We are slowly receiving back many elements of her equipment taken from her by many years. Most in 1972. But we have many interesting things even her Marconi Radio and original charts used by Trinity House taken in 1972. For about 2 months her bridge will be fully equipped. Still many elements are missing but we know who have them. So we are really full of optimism.

If you like to know more please visit her www but the best place is ship's nostalgia as you know.

Best greeting Rafal

Hello to all of you,

Here is the best last visualization of THPV Bembridge - there are 4 professional panoramas there - to migrate from one to another please click on 3 arrows visible on the first panorama.

Please look at the new deck and two (just returned) Pilot Boarding Boats - it taken 1 year to restore them - they are 1960 & 1961 with working original Patter engines in the same age.

THPV Bembridge is here:
