Hey all,

Working already on a saturday trip.
I found a special one, 'The last steam operated seagoing tug in the Netherlands'.

I need 40 persons who like to join, costs 50 euro for 6 hrs sailing in Port of Rotterdam.

Hey Stevo,
Hmmmm... I am Not surre about this steam boat Trip...
We just talket about this.
Concerns are:
Especially when Winds, you Might get very Dirty.... We have a very Bad steam Train expierience, came back black like coal miners!
Not good for clothes but as well not advisable for Kamera equipment. Can imagine on the sea, with wind it will even be worth.

Plus, 50 euro per Person is a lot of money...
I think, we would prefer something else, but we are only two!
When the other ones like this trip we will think about joining,

Kind regards from Bavaria

You're correct, didn't think of that.
Will use the same boat as 2 years ago.

3 hrs = 36 euro
Wondering if you guys want to go into the old harbour or want to go to the Maasvlakte.

Hey all,

We have a new sponsor for our next shipspottingtrip.
Thx to URS http://www.urs.be

As agreed with that company, one or more tugs will assist us on our trip and will show some moves.

As we have planned a trip to Flushing Rede tomorrow and we may expect some foreign visitors, we would like to give them the opportunity of taking some pictures today.  We plan a boat trip today around the Port of Rotterdam, to date the largest port in  Europe.

The trip will last for 3 hours for as little as

Hi Derek,
So horrible things happen sometimes. Hope you will get better soon. Luckily its a while to go to June.I think until than you will be back on your legs. All the best for a fast recovery anyway!
We are in Melbourne until Middle of April. But like always online for any case and to get by email!
I fly next Monday, my husband is already there.
Is there anything interesting in things of shipspotting over there in Victoria, does anybody know?
We have been there last year already for some weeks but I wasn

Hi Galdriel

While in Melbourne, take a ferry ride from Southbank to Williamstown, and back. You will pass a container ship terminal and possibly be close to arriving and departing ships, and tugs.  Williamstown has an interesting history, and is not a long walk to the edge of Port Philip from where you may get other shots

Best regards
Clyde

Hey Derek,

Sad to hear.
There are more members who like to wait till end of may before they confirm there present.
Please note that I still have 25 open spots for the Flushing Road trip so this should be no problem.

For the Rotterdam Port trip I have already 1 boat full (for Maasvlakte trip) and I just changed the way of registration. Please note that the second boat will only sail when she's full booked.

Hi Stevo,

I would have liked to commit myself to this trip and was considering motoring from the Hook
on my motorbike, as it is not to easy to get to Terneuzen another way.
But now everything is on hold as I have broken my left ankle in an accident at work.
Now I am unsure when I will be fit enough so to its only fair to inform you i wil not be able to attend this time sorry

Derek
