Google Earth (ships)

I don't know whether this is the correct forum but here goes--- Does anybody out there have any knowledge of GOOGLE EARTH  (ships) through vesseltracker.com If so what and is it worth it ?? I'm finding it a bit awkward am I unlucky ??
