Crews of two vessel in Mediterranean have problems with their shipowners, claiming unpaid wages and lack of supplies including fuel, food and fresh water. General cargo Eastern Planet was found (!) adrift after fuel ran out some 20 miles off Morocco coast on July 22 and towed to Algeciras, on August 3 vessel in the same position, crew asked ITF inspector for help. Not long ago I saw Mv Eastern Planet for sale in the market, actually had the impression the Owner were desperate to sell her so seems another victim of the huge shipping crisis which in my opinion only has started and the worst to come the next years !
