Tower Bridge Lift Thurs 15th
« on: April 14, 2010, 07:03:59 PM »
Tower Bridge is due to lift tomorrow at 13.40 (upriver) and 14.10 (downriver) for a "vessel". The Tower Bridge website (and the PLA), have a policy of not naming naval ships, so I assume it is indeed miltary, but does anyone know exactly what it is?

Well it turned out to be the Sea Cadets' "T.S. Jack Petchey" :-( I did have my camera just in case it was something interesting.

Thanks Phil, I wondered what she was. Prehaps she was shown as "vessel" because the "TS" was mistaken for "Top Secret"  :-D

Aha! I didn't think of that Bob. I can't think of any other reason for such secrecy in this case

As like with other forces cadet forces, they are still classed as military and are treated as such.

Army Cadets = come under the Army classifacation
Air Cadets = come under RAF classifaction
Sea Cadets = come under Navy classifacation
