Polarfront in the Norwegian Sea in position L (Lima) is to retire from service.
The ship will be replaced in position Lima, but not by another ship.

The position Lima was established in January 1949, the first two vessels were Polarfront I and Polarfront II.

In 1975?? Cumulus (imo 540286) and from January 1977 Polarfront took over
Cumulus was retired by the end of 1981.

As far as I know Polarfront is working on the position M (Mike), the only one remaining whether vessel position.
