Maestro Sun abandoned in North Sea

Filipino crew had to be airlifted from Danish ro-ro Maestro Sun that lost steering power in the North Sea off Denmark.

Back In Fredericia:

Maestro Sun is now here in Port Of Fredericia after being under tow in 3 days from the west coast of Jutland, around Skagen and down here to Fredericia.
Assisted by the tugs Stevns Icequeen on the big tow and Svitzer Mjolner here in the port, she is going in to Fredericia Shipyard. Maestro Sun left Fredericia 2/10-09 bound for Antwerpen after months on the shipyard getting in very good condition, the vessel looks very great and sad she had the steering gear fail.
