Ian,
The MHPA website still gives jetty eta as 8.00am on 20/3. That means presumably the TEMBEK will be approaching St Annes Head maybe about 6.30am. That's to early for decent seaward photos unfortunately, although the weather forecast is good!
Have you (or anyone else) got anymore upto date eta info?

Hi Jenny, MHPA website now saying an ETA for 15:00 on 20/3, I presume that is the pilot boarding time for the Tembek off St Annes Head and she will be making her way in not too long after. If anything changes between now and then I will of course update.

The arrival of Tembek has made the BBC news this morning with the usual crowd of numties claiming the sky will fall in!

I am a bit puzzled by the arrival time as high tide at Milford Haven today is at 13:05
I would have thought a good place to see the arrival would be to the south around the village of Angle.

Hi Kelvin, I agree with you about the hight tide time but the Port Authority always put out these strange ETA's for arrivals at the port. I am hoping to get a few shots of the TEMBEK's arrival barring the security that will surround her no doubt.

Could be that the Tembek don't need the same clearance as the similar size crude oil tankers? Just comparing my previous ships (LNG's) to my present ships (shuttle tankers), the LNG's have pretty much the same draft in loaded and ballast condition. But then again, as I remember we always berthed on high tide with the LNG's as well...!  :-D

Does anyone know how frequent the LNG's will call on Milford? Hope some will be there next time we come in with some North Sea Crude! 8-)

Hello NLad, with a fleet of 16 vessels to supply South Hook if I am right one vessel every two or three days will visit the terminal.

TEMBEK off Milford Haven with the Svitzer Kilroom, Svitzer Lindsway & Svitzer Musselwick just coming up to her now at 11.52am GMT will be making her approach soon I believe.
