I believe Cosco Damman and Sils will also be replaced as they were only brought in as larger vessels for the export season.
An extra Maersk loader has been announced as the Julia Schulte. Cap Bonavista is to do one export voyage to the ECNA and USL Condor is to do one round trip to WCNA.

Maersk Fuji and Vega Gotland are to swap runs. Maersk Fuji will go to the Australia/coastal run and the Vega Gotland will go to the Fiji/Noumea run.

Due to the on going crankshaft and main engine problems with the Southern Pasifika, PDL are returning her to her owners. The Southern Trader will transfer from the Tahiti run to take over the Southern Pasifika's schedule. She is too large to get into the ports of Tarawa, Wallis and Funafuti and all cargo will be transshipped at Suva onto Southern Tiare. PDL with the help of PIL have managed to charter the Kota Darjah which is a sister to Southern Trader and Southern Lily and she will take over the Tahiti run. No name change announced at present.

Pacific Direct Line, Reef Shipping
Southern Phoenix will replace the Southern Tiare and will be based in Fiji.
This will mean increased tonnage for Kiribati and improved transit / frequency times, as we will be transhipping over Fiji onto the Southern Phoenix

Southern Trader has now replaced the Southern Pasifika as well as the Southern Tiare and will be based in New Zealand. With the Southern Trader replacing the Southern Pasifika /Southern Tiare, she will now be linking New Zealand and Fiji to Pt Vila and Santo as well as offering a better frequency of every 18 days from New Zealand. Lautoka has also been added as an additional port call.

Tasman Independence and Tasman Resolution are transferring from Tasman Orient's South East Asia run to Swire Shipping's WCNA run. A third as yet unnamed vessel is to be added. There is no news yet on the replacements for Tasman Orient.
