Atlantic Vision has fire onboard

I read a article on VOCM.com that Marine Atlantic new ferry the Atlantic Vision had a fire onboard this past weekend. Onboard cameras picked up flames and skome and the fire was contained to one of two thermal heating units, according to the report damage is still being accessed

Sad to hear. I hope there is not to much damage and Marine Atlantic can start with the ferry in march as planned.

I also heard unconfirmed reports that she broke loose and almost hit the Caribou

Uhh.. not a good start for her. But I think we have to see the good side in this. Maybe she just wants to run the Cabot Strait and not to be tied up for so long.
