According to a news report from VOCM, the crew are on the way over there to begin preparing to bring her over.

With her speed, is she going to go for the Blue Ribbon?

Hi,

I don't think she will make it, the record for the fastest westbound transatlantic crossing is still being held by the United States at 3 days, 12 hours and 12 minutes at a speed of 34.51 knots. The Superfast can only reach something a little over 30 knots when pushed so I think it will be a bit out of reach for her...

The Atlantic Vision is on her way. She is currently near Newhaven Port, traveling at 22 knots. strangely, her AIS is currently naming her ALINE 1, but trust me, it is her, since her name was Atlantic Vision whilst crossing the Dover Straits.

Atlantic Vision passed through the Dover straits today around midday. A photo, although a very poor one, has been posted on Ship Photos.

Hi,

some pictures have been posted in the ferries section. Looking at this picture I'd say she had a rough crossing! All that Superfast red visible on the bows...

Might have been rough crossing , but around 5 days from  DOVER to ST. JOHN,S seems like good timing especially this time of year.

No doubt she'll have to have the bow touched up a little. Couldn't very well go into service with red showing through the Marine Atlantic blue. Here's hoping for a clear day for Dean at Prosser's Rock.

Her bow was touched up today, she was christened in St. John's Dec 11, 2008 and on the local news cast they showed photos of her inside and she is beautiful, a crown in the fleet.
I hope I'm able to get some photos of her soon.

Dean
