Port of Tyne New Pilot Cutter - Collingwood
« on: July 04, 2008, 04:18:16 PM »
Hi All

Good to hear that the new Port of Tyne Pilot Cutter, COLLINGWOOD will be arriving in the Tyne tonight (22.00). However it may well be that she will be off the Piers earlier than that having a quick 'trial'. The vessel is named after Admiral Lord Collingwood a local lad who did well at the Battle of Trafalgar

Photograph of the new craft can be see @ http://www.seateamimages.com/101671.html

HI Joe

Great stuff and a great set of photographs, super internal shots and what engines! - also good to hear that she has AIS fitted, should be able to pick her up as she travels up the East Coast  :-)
