Hi

It is very intresting to find out what Vroon are now goung to do with all the dead weight they have in their Standby fleet.

Most of their fleet is made up of 1970's built ex American supply boats.

Will they replace them with new builds

For example IMT 948's which are very much capeable to for errv's, North Star have just completed their 7 fleet new build programme with IMT948's and very nice ships indeed.

I suppose time will tell.

Stuart

These 13 IMT955 were on order before the purchase of Nomis.

This would be the ideal time now to replace the older tonnage.

Out of the 28 fleet in Nomis all are at least 30 years old.

Nomis were never for new build standby vessel's cheapest always the best.

Now under new owners this is the chance now to improve the fleet.
