The Harin Panich 19, now renamed MV Sun Sea, a suspected migrant smuggling vessel last seen in the Gulf of Thailand. South Asian media are reporting it is on its way to Canada with 200 migrants on board.
Does anyone have information on this ship?.
In a photo of the ship, on its transom, it appears to be registered in Bankok. The ship was turned away from Australia and may land in Canada in August with a load of 200 Tamil migrants. It is alleged to be operated by the Tamil Tigers.
