Russian trawler Olshana sunk

A Russian trawler has run aground off the Faroe Islands.
The incident occured just after 7 o'clock tonight.

Goast Guard vessel Tjaldrid has made a first attempt to refloat the trawler, but it was not succesful.

A part of the crew has been taken of the trawler.
This marked reef has claimed some ships in the past.

The ship is leaking oil and there is water in the engine room.
No new attempt has been made to refloat the trawler.

The deapth is 74 meters.
