Danish ferry owner Mols-Linien is ready to take over routes from newly privatised Scandlines if they are sold.
Mols chairman Anker Christoffersen told the Borsen daily that the new owners of the 50/50-controlled German and Danish state-owned operation have already been approached by the company about selling its Danish services.
The sale of Scandlines to UK fund 3i, German shipping company DSR and German finance group Allianz Capital is expected to close within days at a price of about $1.1bn.
The buyers will also receive Scandlines
