CMA CGM Otello
« on: August 28, 2006, 05:22:43 PM »
Hi,

Today "de Lloyd" reports that CMA CGM ordered 4 new boxships of 6.500 TEU by Hanjin Heavy. Delivery is for september 2009.
They also reports that CMA CGM is still looking for extra capacity. The CMA CGM Otello grounded in the area of Singapore. The ship is now in a drydock for repairs but they have no idea when the ship can return into the FAL-service. Does someone know what happenend and when? It's very hard to get more information. If someone knows more, please post it here. Thanks in advance.

Here can also be found only a little information about the accident. The cause was probably bad weather

Best regards.
