There are many shipwrecks

Maybe you post a shipwreck unknown to you and another user knows about it.

Atica shipwreck?

Let's see in google maps it is marked as Atica shipwreck.

First the location: 27°59'37.4 "N 33°28'35.2 "E

Google Maps:

But there is a problem I don't have any ATICA ships sunk in Egypt.

At first I thought someone marked something for marking, it really looks like anything but a ship.

Now look how interesting it is if you use Google Earth, using the timeline see what happens.

Is that a shipwreck?

Yes, it is a shipwreck, but it is not Attica.

What is this shipwreck?

Hello Mafioso,
The ferry on the top is SAUDI GOLDEN ARROW (IMo5109590).
'Atica wreck' (70 x 16 m) looks like à barge. Not easy.
Regards,
Yvon

The ferry at the top is SAUDI GOLDEN ARROW (IMo5109590).

Yes, I put that one as an illustrative image to introduce the subject.

Since I have several wrecks unknown to me.

Looking for another shipwreck I find that mark ATICA SHIPWRECK

To me it looks like an abandoned cargo ship.

I knew that my friend Yvon would answer me. Thank you my friend

It is not easy, I researched but did not find any sunken attica in egypt.

It looks like a barge to you, I see it as a cargo ship.

The location of the wreck is consistent with the location where the Greek-flag ATTIKI (IMO 6617295, built 1966 as MASASHIMA MARU) was lost in 1978.

Thank you very much friend Kyle Stubbs for responding.

ATTIKI (IMO 6617295) that's more to my liking because to my eye it looks like a cargo ship.

But beware that a little further north there are 2 abandoned and sunken cargo ships and about 2 tugs.

I was going to post after this one.

I support ATTIKI (IMO 6617295)

Is it the Al-Shaheed, a Saudi Arabian military transport ship that ran aground on coral reefs off the coast of Jeddah in 2014?
