Editing and uploading photo's.

Hi Forum,

I've just noticed a couple of problems while I'm editing a photo. I've not noticed it before.

When I've ticked the box for IMO number and then edit the Location box, the drop down list for ports stays on the screen and it unticks the IMO box.

Frustrating & time consuming when you have to keep going back to it.

I'm using Safari 15.6.1.

Also the edit-screen itself has a problem with the IMO-box.
In case the IMO is marked before as irrelevant, the message appears: IMO number must be a 7 digits number bigger than 0!

Just tested the IMO Box and everything worked normally.

I can recreate the problem, when editing a photo:

-IMO checked as irrelevant
-change the category
-IMO not checked as irrelevant anymore

Summarizing today during upload and edit:
In the upload screen ticking the IMO as irrelevant and then entering the ENI: the IMO-irrelevant disappears.
In the edit screen with the IMO marked as irrelevant: editing any box the IMO-irrelevant disappears.
Strange that the webmaster has no problems.

Again, I edited something in the text of the GDANSK II, which I uploaded this morning to see whether I had any problems. (none as reported above) Now after editing I still not experience the problems as described above, the IMO number remained there and there was no message about 7 digits. I am using Firefox on a Windows 11 driven ACER Aspire.

Pieter,

The problem only occurs with ships without IMO, so the IMO irrelevant has to be ticked, like with Matt's WYEFORCE which has no IMO.

I believe the same problem with the IMO Irrelevant checkbox being unchecked has been reported last Friday.
However it was reported only for Safari.
Can you please tell me if it is happening on other browsers as well?
