S.S. NOMADIC - the last White Star Line ship still existing in the world

(1/1)

Nomadic422:
All,

The S.S NOMADIC - the last White Star Line ship still existing in the world and the former TITANIC's tender in Cherbourg returned to her birthplace Belfast.

NOMADIC was transported on board a submersible barge and arrived in Belfast last 15th July.  She stayed 2 days visible to the public and she was later dry-docked for examination.

Arrangements will now be done to secure her restoration.

The latest updates are on www.savenomadic.com

You can also subscribe to become a Member of the Nomadic Preservation Society and join our efforts to restore her to her former glory.

I thank you very much in advance for your interest.

Best regards,

Philippe Delaunoy

Nomadic422:
NOMADIC has been off-loaded from the barge last Monday and she is now docked into the world's largest dry-dock at Harland & Wolff shipyards.

She will probably stay there 4 weeks and the new Trust that will manage restoration works will meet next September.

Best regards,
