Has anyone got any knowledge of I think was a French pilot boat named Mascaret registered in Le Havre, she was sold to Gardline Shipping and became a survey vessel in the 1980s renamed Sea Strata.
 Appreciate any help thanks.

Hi,
was LE MASCARET, built 1961 by Duchesne & Bossiere, Le Havre (#154), IMO 5204778.
Became SEA STRATA in 1982,  ANAYANSI in 1988, ALEXANDRIA in 1992.
Last owner is Vladimir Horodinca, Panama. Source: Miramar.

Many thanks  for info  Manfred much appreciated, I worked on this vessel in West Africa for about 4/5 months in 1983 when she was the Sea Strata. left Gardline then went into rig supply ships, never knew what happened to her after that.
