There are vessel changes on Zim Lines NZ2A Australia to NZ service.
Contship Dax and Contship Rex are leaving the schedule, being replaced by H Cygnus IMO 9946233 and H Mercury IMO 9946245. Big Lilly will also remain on the schedule.

They also show a one off feeder vessel Anna Gabriele IMO 9045699 calling Marsden Point 31/12 and Auckland 1/1.
This vessel is at present trading as LDR Bedel and is in Novorossiysk Russia.

Move Logistics new vessel "Atlas Wind" arrived in ballast at Wellington from Mebourne. She then sailed to Brisbane, and is loading at Port Alma for Whangarei. Could be a cargo of containers as Port Alma is where the bulker Shanghai Spirit also loaded containers for discharge in Whangarei.

G'Day Stephen,

Port Alma is known for Ammonium Nitrate (explosives) and tallow exports and a small amount of petroleum imports. It's a very small, shallow port in the middle of nowhere near Rockhampton. What's in the containers ??

I posted an aerial shot a few years ago, luckily flying high enough to escape the sandflies that infest the place . . .

Cheers,
tropic

Hi, I don't know what the cargo was, but the Shanghai Spirit berthed at 5.30am and sailed at midday. So not many containers in that time frame. She sailed to Bundaberg to load a cargo of sugar for South Korea.
