The fatality last week on Constantinos P severely disrupting operations is one factor affecting Auckland, and strike-stricken ships crossing from Australia another. Typhoon season in Asia would possibly be another delaying arrivals, so arriving off-window at the moment will most likely have dire consequences.
It's getting quite serious.
The ANL Emora has been working at a general berth. She arrived 7th Sept. and is to leave on 10th. However there has been no work on her all last night and today. Don't know why that is.
The Brotonne Bridge arrived at anchor 9th Sept and is due to berth 13th, and leave 14th.
The CSL Atlantic is at anchor 9th Sept, berthing 11th and sailing 14th.
I can't see that the shipping companies will be very happy with these delays as it must have a knock effect for slots at other ports.
