"Alligator Pond" ,IMO 8007511.
Remember seeing her a few times in the English Channel around the year 2000.The name was unusual and for her she seemed to be in strange waters.
Wondered if anyone knows why she was operating around here in those days, and also if there is a photo of her with that name?

Jury Gusev:
My favorit name- SOMNIUM VITAE, seen here on shipspotting.com

Oh AMSMTG, I was really hoping that BJ Queen was a suction dredger. Or a hovercraft. Sadly not.
Two from me.  A decade ago I saw an Aran Islands ferry at Doolin in Ireland called the Happy Hooker.
And apparently Patrick Stewart has/had a yacht in Vancouver called "Make It So" - or so my Vancouver resident brother informs me...

libertyshiplad:
"Somnium Vitae" ,translates on Google as "Lifes Dream",what a fantastic name. Named by the owner?captain?
Assume the car down aft is his pride and joy,not part of the scrap cargo.
Colin

libertyshiplad:
Titan Uranus -remember being in the newspapers, with picture, sometime ago, saying the name had to be changed due to constant sniggering, jokes in radio communications !!
