I've tried several times over recentmonths to add one using the Forum Profile Information page, selecting 'I will upload my own picture' and choosing a jpg, but it doesn't seem to work.
Is that something still-to-do since the crash last year (I seem to remember someone mentioning that they couldn't add a new avatar.
Or perhaps I'm just doing something wrong.

Hi David,

I had the same problem, but cured by reducing size of avatar it needs to be 60x60 and then should be accepted.

It would still be desirable for Henrik to amend the page

When I changed my avatar it did not alter immediately.  I saw the new one at the next login
