Category standards: Ships in Drydock

(1/2) > >>

davidships:
The standard currently reads:

--- Quote ---Exceptions to the full ship rule will apply only if the image shows parts of a ship not normally seen, for example propellers, bow thrusters, bulbous bows and rudders

Photos of a ship with the view partially obstructed by dock gates and/or shore equipment will be accepted, if a significant part of the ship is visible.

--- End quote ---

Should it be made clear that the general standard on Obstructions does not apply where the obstruction is part of the repair activity and a substantial part of the vessel can be seen?

Hello All

I think the wording is fine. Asuggesting might be to conbine Ships in Drydock and Patent slip photos into one ctogory.

Best Wishes
Adrian

Captain Ted:
I think present standard is fine, has to be rather loosely looked at for the sake of seeing things which often is totally impossible to see for most people here.

B.Clark:
as per Capt Ted, fine as it is
