I've just put up a video about yesterday's (Sat 18 April) grounding of Susan Maersk on a sandbank in the Suez canal - search "Susan Maersk" on the video page if you want to see it.
Suez is one of the world's most important choke points for East-West traffic, and after the earlier reported RPG attack on Cosco Asia in 2013, I've been watching it with keener interest. I do believe that one day it will suffer a more major attack, delaying traffic for maybe days or weeks, and giving us in Europe serious supply chain problems.
The implications of this kind of possible event could be dramatic on our "just in time" civilisation.
