Ex-HADAG ferry MAX BRAUER (IMO 7904566) arrived a few days ago at DA Schiffsverwertung, Papenburg, Germany, where she will be scrapped.
Max Brauer was the last ship of the HADAG-fleet built as a seagoing vessel. Built in 1980 by HDW, Hamburg, she was first used in the Baltic and around the isle of Sylt. From 1988 until 2011 HADAG only used her on the Elbe river as a harbor ferry at Hamburg and for charter tours. Finally in 2011 she was laid up for economical reasons.
