The four remaining Thai crew of the fishing vessel held in captivity for nearly five years have been released. The men were taken hostage when the Taiwan-flagged vessel, the FV Prantalay 12 on the 18 April 2010.
Speaking to IHS Maritime from Manila, Philippines, Roy Paul, director at the Maritime Piracy Humanitarian Response Programme (MPHRP) said: "We don't exactly know why they have been released - we have been working on this for the last five years to try to get all the different parties together.
