PALM BEACH PRINCESS
« on: January 11, 2015, 11:00:13 AM »
Hello to all of you and especially ship lovers in the Dominican Republic,

are there any news about the current status of the PALM BEACH PRINCESS (ex VIKING PRINCESS, ex ILMATAR) ? My last information is that the ship is still docked at a yard in Santo Domingo but not has been scrapped.

Regards from Germany, wogo.

Hi Jens,

thanks for your reply. The information from Equasis is certainly correct. But a local TV-video about great problems of the shipyard in Santo Domingo on 25/08/2014 shows that the ship is still in the dock of the yard and not yet demolished. Maybe and hopefully the future of the ship has changed in the meantime.

Regards, wogo.
