Is there hope for the oldest passenger ferry in the world operating on Lake Tanganyika (built in 1913 as a German gunboat)?

Latest video uploaded on youtube is from 23th June 2014.
Ship is apperantly still in service and in not too bad condition:

As I understand from german newspapers rebuilding of LIEMBA is still in dispute between three german federal ministries, the State of Lower Saxony and Meyer Papenburg, where GRAF GOETZEN was built in 1913, dismantled and packed into wooden cases for shipment from Germany to Africa by ship and rail to Lake Tangajika with rebuilding on the shore of the lake.

Hope this may assist.
Regards Peter
