France has finally decided to halt construction on the two Mistral Class ships built for the Russian navy, after resisting pressure to do so for some time now. Mr Francois Hollande has described the current conditions as "not right" for the ship's delivery, due to Moscow's aggression in Eastern Ukraine. The Amphibious assault ship was due for delivery by late October. Sevastopol was destined to be delivered next year, though Hollande's statement did not mention the outcome for this ship.
