Got "Only jpg photos are allowed for upload" msg after uploading a jpg file

Sorry I tried to upload a photo a number of times and not successful, the site kept on saying "Only jpg photos are allowed for upload.".  I tried another photo it got the same message.  I am sure these are jpg files.  Any others encountered the same problem?

Is ther something wrong with the site ? I can't upload any picture. When I upload a photo, I get a  message to see ( Only jpg photos are allowed for upload).
