DOCKWISE VANGUARD passed Cape Town, from Singapore for Firth of Forth, Scotland, where due 29/7. When the involvement of DOCKWISE VANGUARD was announced it was reported that Costa had taken an
option on her for this summer as an alternative to a conventional tow.
Now that the decision has been made in favour of nearby Genoa for demolition, it seems likely that the DW will not be required. We will, however, miss the sight of the Tuscany president physically preventing her arrival (perhaps he has been on a Greenpeace training course).
