Thai tanker believed to be Hijacked

A Thai tanker on its way from Singapore to Indonesia lost contact with its owner after departing the city-state on Tuesday.

It is thought to have been hijacked on its way. It has 14 crew member aboard. This can be one more pirate attack.'

The oil tanker has been recovered with all of its crew members safe but pirates who hijacked the tanker took its cargo and damaged communications gear.
