Swedish passenger ship STOCKHOLM of 1948 (now the AZORES)

(1/1)

Lu:
Hello,

I am doing an article on the history of the Swedish passenger and cargo liner STOCKHOLM built in Gotenburg 1944-1948 and I have been unable to find her original call sign letters (1948-1960). I have a copy of Lloyd's Register 1947-48 which already shows an entry on te STOCKHOLM but at publication date she had not yet been registered, so no Call Sign.

Can someone having at hand a copy of Lloyds Registers books on this period check this information, please? By the way, anyone knows the date this ship's keel was laid down somewhere in 1945?

Many thanks

Lu

Tom Walker:
Lloyd's Register 1954-55 shows a call sign of SEJT.

Regards

Tom

Lu:
