Hi Ralph,

Don't know about the "Riviera", but the "Red Pearl" is this one:

Hanil Redpearl, pity she went to the breakers...

Cheers

Vlad

Hi Ralph,

RIVIERA is old ferry IMO 6918560 that has been used as an accommodation vessel in recent times. The name on AIS is showing as RAVI so not sure which is correct.

Thanks, John

The Chittagong vessel list includes a 180m bulk carrier named FU YI. The vessel was last reported on AIS with MMSI 626238000 under the flag of Gabon with c/sign TRAN7. The data quoted for this vessel is incorrect. I believe her to be the former FU XING 1 (IMO 7375492). Informa show this vessel as "existence in doubt". It is possible that she traded in China as SHUN DA5 from around 2010. If anyone has a photographed of SHUN DA 5 I would be interested to see it.
Simon, FU YI - IMO 7375492 name under which it was registered in 2022/10, effectively it was since 2008/04 SHUN DA 5. It has been today 08/11/2022 beached at Chittagong Breaking Yard.
The only picture we can find of this vessel on this web site → https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/570124

Hi Ralph,
Riviera may be RAVI - IMO 6918560 which anchored in Bhavnagar on 03/11/2022. This morning she is moving to position itself to Alang anchorage.
Red Pearl - IMO 9128556 was beached at Chattogram on 06/11/2022 as Redpearl.
Cheers,
Manuel

Thanks Vlad, I have a mess of ships that I confused with the Linda Star, including the date. It is now corrected.

Hello all,
Does anyone know what does ChristosXXIX tow to Aliaga? She is coming from Paloukia, Greece.

Thanks, how do you know this? Is there any program or website to track the tugboats?

The ' Amadeo Mateceba' has started its last voyage to breakers in Aliaga on Nov 14, 2022. The tug 'Paul' took the ferry in tow in Reggio di Calabria, assisted byy a port tug.

Paul went to Paloukis and now is going to Trapani. Does anyone know if Amadeo Mateceba is coming to Aliaga?
