The Finnish day cruise ship BLUEWHITE EAGLE (originally FRISIA III, 710GT, 1960, IMO 5121768) has just been scrapped at the Turku Repair yard in Naantali as a pilot project between the yard and the company Meriaura. The yard bought her for just EUR 2,000 and scrapping was completed in 8-9 days. This was reported by Tradewinds on 2 November 2017.
